Canadian Task Team


The outcomes of the Imaginarium will include a published commentary that summarizes the results of the Imaginarium and presents a way forward, as well as the formation of a Canadian Task Team, a team made up of diverse actors who are dedicated to further shaping the field of Canadian mental health innovation and facilitating future national, provincial and local initiatives that build on the conversations stemming from the Imaginarium.

Some objectives of the task team are listed below, and others may arise based upon what is discussed during the Imaginarium:

1. Creating and hosting a Community of Practice for Canadian Mental Health Innovation;
2.
Creating of a brief of approaches, principles, and recommendations for Canadian Mental Health Innovation (including highlighting the role of youth and individuals with lived experience in catalyzing Canadian mental health innovation);
3. Fostering collaboration amongst agencies and stakeholders to host and convene regional and/or local Canadian Mental Health Innovation events;
4. Gathering, synthesizing, developing, and sharing tools related to the Canadian Mental Health Innovation; and
5. Creating ways to continue the conversation on Canadian Mental Health innovation and encourage the Canadian community to experience, connect, and create together.
